Death is inevitably interconnected with experience. It is the final consequence of contact with the world and often comes as a surprise, even though it is embedded in any form of experience. The relationship between photography and death has always been intertwined. Thus, I took Barthes' words, quoted above, literally and became the photographic agent of an obvious death.
